Sorry this is later than I promised, but we've been having problems getting the Wifi up and running. Hopefully solved now!
We arrived about 4 o'clock, having had an uneventful 5 hour journey down the A6 and A7, with a little diversion round Lyon via the A46, when I happened to glance at an info board which announced a bouchon (traffic jam) on the A6 in the city.
Thank goodness I looked up when I did, or Pete's life would have been even shorter!
On the way we saw the temperature gradually rising to reach 38C (100.4 F) on our arrival.
And the cicadas were 'singing' fit to bust!!

La Gardy is as beautiful as ever.
The boys have grown lots again and Aron
is running around and talking which he wasn't quite last year.
Estoban
remembered us and we got big hugs, Clovis wasn't too sure but is
starting to trust us now.
Steph and Ernesto were glad to see their
English family again, Ernie said "Welcome home!" Which just about sums up how we feel.
Having unpacked and had a snooze, we went to one of our favourite places for tea in St Remy. Will put on more pics of the town another day, but for now here's the creperie.
As usual the food was delicious. We had salads and crepes, trying to be good. Will no doubt be back before we leave!
